Tasting Notes:
Narai “d” – Sankei Nishiki Rice (48% Rice Milling Ratio) – 14% Alcohol Made using Sankei Nishiki, a locally loved sake rice variety in Nagano belonging to the lineage of Miyama Nishiki. Only registered in 2020, it is still a relatively young variety, and its name translates to “blessing from the mountains.” The aroma of this sake evokes the fresh, flavour notes of pear and apples. This is followed by the floral aroma of honeysuckle, the taste of this sake is delightfully light, with bold flavour notes of pear and apples. Its slightly dry aftertaste maintains a pleasant aroma of white flowers, which offers a more full-bodied experience.
